LEGACY ESTATES AMADEUS

(April 07, 2000 - September 14, 2007)

Amadeus, born in April, 2000, was the first foal of our maiden mare, Saxon Mount Top Dollar and and the first foal sired by our prized stallion, Shadowlane Prime Target. A black pinto, he was almost perfectly balanced in white and black and went on to win several ribbons in multi-colour as well as in jumping, halter and driving. It appeared he had a bright future in the show ring in several categories. He was sold to Lacey-Lynn Bormke in May 2007 and went on to perform amazingly well in several shows. He and Lacey seemed to be a perfect match. - Jeanette Ratzlaff

 

Amadeus did Cloverdale, Can-am, Armstrong then he had a little while off before he went to the IPE and then his last show of the year was the Salmon Arm Fall Fair. He always placed well for me. Amadeus always had a positive attitude about him. He had GREAT patience when it came to beginners when showing him.(Kristina my cousin). He always had to be first when it came to feeding. He always smiled when he was the centre of attention and being spoiled. He could put a smile on anyone's face. He will always leave a big hole in my heart but he will always be there. He was a great inspiration to me. He will be greatly missed by our family. Amadeus has gone to the WORLDS and left me behind.
