With a rocky start, having been born during a blizzard, Bonzai spent time in hospital. He lived his first two weeks in our living room with his bottle feedings and being carried out to his Mum to nurse. He has been mothered by our Newfoundland dogs and Maggie snuggles up to keep him warm. She is heartbroken that he has moved out to the barn with his Mum now. Though, he is still getting a bottle a few tmes a day, he is a normal healthy foal.
